The Judge's Bench: August UCMJ actions Published Sept. 8, 2011 By 319th Air Base Wing Office of the Staff Judge Advocate GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The following members of the 319th Air Base Wing were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in August 2011. Non-judicial punishment actions: · An airman first class from the 319th Logistics Readiness Squadron received an Article 15 for disobeying a lawful order by smoking from a hookah in his dorm room and being derelict in the performance of his duties by providing alcohol to minors. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of airman basic (with reduction below airman suspended), 30 days of extra duty, restriction to Grand Forks Air Force Base for 30 days and a reprimand. · An airman first class from the 319th Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for driving under the influence of alcohol. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of airman basic (with reduction below airman suspended) restriction to Grand Forks Air Force Base for 30 days and a reprimand. · A staff sergeant from the 319th Medical Operations Squadron received an Article 15 for being derelict in the performance of her duties by wrongfully accessing Protected Health Information. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of senior airman and a reprimand.
