The Judge's Bench: December UCMJ actions

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --  The following members of the 319th Air Base Wing were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice in December 2011:

Nonjudicial Punishment Actions

· A major from the 348th Reconnaissance Squadron received an Article 15 for fraternization. The following punishment was imposed: Forfeitures of $3,425.00 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

· A staff sergeant from the 319th Logistics Readiness Squadron received an Article 15 for drunk driving. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of senior airman and a reprimand.

· A staff sergeant from the 319th ABW received an Article 15 for being drunk on duty. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of senior airman and a reprimand.

· A senior airman from the 319th Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for leaving his place of duty without authority, failure to obey a lawful order, and assault. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of airman with reduction below airman first class suspended, forfeitures of $822.00 pay per month for two months (suspended) and a reprimand.

· An airman first class from the 319th SFS received an Article 15 for the wrongful use of marijuana. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of airman basic, thirty days of restriction and a reprimand.
