GFAFB Month of the Military Child events

April is Month of the Military Child, and local officials have planned various activities to celebrate our base youth.

The events include:
  • April 15-21: National Volunteer Week. If you've volunteered in the past, are volunteering now, or wish to volunteer, stop by the Youth Center this week.
  • April 20: The UGT (You Got Talent) Talent Show will be held at 6 p.m. in the Community Activity Center.
  • April 24: A Month of the Military Child Appreciation Social will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the base club. The 319th Force Support Squadron commander will thank the Child and Youth Program staff for their service to military children and families.
  • April 27-28: Teen Lock-in, Max-out (Live, Learn, Green) will be held from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. in the Teen Center in Liberty Square. Games, events, food and loads of competition to be expected.
