Motorcycle rally planned for May 23

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --  The 319th Air Base Wing Safety Office will host a motorcycle rally show here May 23 in Fast Eddie's parking lot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The focus of the rally is to provide summer safety awareness and practices with an emphasis on motorcycles. Bicycles, dirt bikes and ATVs will also be on display.

Attendees can vote for the best-looking motorcycle or sport bike and cheer on competitors in the motorcycle slow-run contest.

Food will be available all afternoon and local motorcycle group the "Green Knights" will have an information booth available.

Motorcycle and sport bike safety inspections will be performed on all those interested and protective personnel equipment and gear will be available on display and for purchase.
