Base youth showcased their skills during the 2012 "UGT (You Got Talent)" competition at the Community Activity Center on May 12, 2012.

Five youth - Cassidy Baugh, Shadoe Blair and sisters Hailey, Kimmie and Paige Holmes - performed in front of friends and family during the event - part of the Nell Buckley Performing Arts Series.

Hailey, Kimmie and Paige earned top honors in the "Group and Family" category with a creative rendition of "I Know It's Today" from "Shrek The Musical."

Cassidy earned top honors in the "Teen Solo Performance/Specialty" category with her ballet performance to "Good Life" by David Archuleta.

Shadoe, Kimmie, Hailey and Cassidy competed against each other in the "Teen Solo Vocal" category. Cassidy earned her second honor of the day with her upbeat rendition of "Mean" by Taylor Swift to win the category.

The contest was judged by John Maness, Marshall Merriweather and Elliot Oclaire.

All the acts were recorded and will be forwarded to an Air Force-wide competition.
