The Judge's Bench: May UCMJ actions

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --  The following members of the 319th Air Base Wing were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in May 2012:

Nonjudicial Punishment

· A senior airman from the 319th Civil Engineering Squadron received an Article 15 for failing to go to work on time. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of airman first class, forfeiture of $250.00 pay per month for 2 months (suspended) and a reprimand.

· An airman first class from the 319th Civil Engineering Squadron received an Article 15 for a dereliction of duty by not having his standby phone on his person and failing to answer the standby phone. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of airman, forfeiture of $250.00 pay per month for 2 months (suspended) and a reprimand.

· An airman first class from the 319th Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for reckless driving and causing damage to government property. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of airman (suspended) forfeiture of $500.00 pay per month for 2 months and a reprimand.
