Retreat to Renew Couple

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The Base Chapel is sponsoring MarriageCare - a weekend retreat aimed at replenishing your relationship with your spouse.

The Sept. 7 to Sept. 9, 2012, retreat will be held at the Fort Garry Hotel and Spa Conference Centre in Winnipeg, Canada. The chapel can host as many as 26 couples for the event.

There will be five marriage-enrichment seminars throughout the weekend in which groups will discuss and interact with each other to promote healthy relationships. The cost of the room, and most meals, is paid for, making it an affordable trip, according to organizers.

MarriageCare is not for children, so couples will have to find their own childcare. Passports are required for all travel into Canada.

Contact your unit first sergeant to register. Registration deadline is this week.
