The Judge’s Bench: June UCMJ actions

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The following members of the 319th Air Base Wing were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in June 2012:

Nonjudicial Punishment Actions

· An airman first class from the 319th Comptroller Squadron received an Article 15 for a DUI and dereliction of duty by drinking underage. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Airman Basic (reduction below Airman suspended) and a reprimand.

· For disobeying a lawful order and failing to go to work on time, an airman from the 319th Civil Engineer Squadron received a previously suspended punishment. The following punishment was imposed: Forfeiture of $250.00 pay per month for 2 months.
