Air Force Association seeking new council members

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The local Air Force Association chapter is seeking to fill several council positions.

Angela Vasser, president of Red River Valley Chapter 140, said her organization needs to fill the following positions: secretary; treasurer; vice president - aerospace education; vice president - communications; vice president - government relations; vice president - veterans' affairs; vice president - leadership development; vice president - membership; and vice president - community partners.

The Air Force Association is an independent, non-profit, veterans' organization open to all veterans, ranks, and service branches. Its mission is to educate the public about the role of aerospace power in the defense of the nation, advocate aerospace power and a strong national defense, and support the U.S. Air Force, the Air Force family and aerospace education.
