The Judge's Bench: August's UCMJ Actions

GRAND FORKS AIF FORCE BASE, N.D. --  The following members of the 319th Air Base Wing were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in August 2012:

Non-judicial punishment actions:

· An airman 1st class from the 319th Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for consuming alcohol while under the legal drinking age and reporting to duty drunk. The following punishment was imposed: restriction to Grand Forks AFB for 30 days, reduction to the grade of airman basic with reduction below airman suspended and a reprimand.

· A senior airman from the 319th Civil Engineering Squadron received an Article 15 for driving while drunk. The following punishment was imposed: reduction to the grade of airman 1st class and a reprimand.

· An airman 1st class from the 319th Communications Squadron received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty. The following punishment was imposed: reduction to the grade of airman and a reprimand.
