With the national election just around the corner, voting officers at Grand Forks Base have kept themselves busy by distributing voting information such as pamphlets provided by the Federal Voters Assistance Program. The FVAP provides voting help for uniformed service members, their families and citizens living outside the U.S. Individuals eligible to vote can access more information on voting by visiting the organization’s official website, FVAP.gov. Airman 1st Class Brittany Shaw, voting officer for the 319th Operation Support Squadron, provides information on absentee ballot registration to fellow Airmen Oct. 1, 2012, at the Exchange on Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D. Shaw and other voting officers can be found helping Airmen with their voting concerns at the 319th Air Base Wing Installation Voting Office located next to the rock-climbing wall inside the base fitness center.
