Airman & Family Readiness Center offers monthly tour Published Nov. 8, 2012 GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The Airman & Family Readiness Center offers a number of services to assist individuals, families, supervisors, first sergeants, and commanders. Staff members want you to know about these services so you will utilize them in your role as an Airman, family member, or as a leader. On the third Monday of every month, at 1 p.m., there will be an opportunity to tour the facility, meet the staff, and learn about the services they provide. You do not need to sign up in advance, just be on time. The one-hour presentation will leave you with a more complete understanding of the services available. The staff will also throw in a free pen and you'll earn a Leadership Pathways point. You'll learn about the Air Force Aid Society, Community Readiness Consultants, Exceptional Family Members Program, Family Child Care and other employment opportunities, Family Readiness, Financial Management, the School Liaison Office, the Parent & Child Center, Transition Assistance Program, Military Family Life Consultants and Relocation Services. This tour and the AFRC services are open to all ID card holders and are highly recommended for new families and supervisors. The next tour is Nov. 19. Please call 747-3241 if you have questions.
