Reminder: Base residents must register firearms Published Jan. 3, 2013 GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Base residents who possess privately owned firearms must register their firearms with the 319th Security Forces Squadron Pass and Registration office by completing and submitting Air Force Form 1314, Firearms Registration Form, and DD Form 2760, Qualification to Possess Firearms or Ammunition. Each form must be completed and submitted by the next duty day after purchase, or upon arrival on station for base housing residents. Dormitory and Temporary Lodging Facility Residents must also register their firearms with the 319th SFS Armory. TLFÂ and dormitory residents are prohibited from possessing weapons in their rooms at any time, and must store their weapons at the armory. Firearms must be transported directly to and from on-base storage locations secured and unloaded. To obtain the required registration forms, firearms owners should contact their respective units, or report to Building 339, Room 106. Pass and Registration hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to noon Fridays.
