AMC magazine sponsors writing contest Published Feb. 19, 2013 GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The Air Mobility Command's official magazine, The Mobility Forum, is currently sponsoring a writing contest. Military and former military personnel, civilian and contract employees of the Air Force and Air Force Reserve Components are eligible to compete in the 2013 contest. First place will receive a prize of $300. Second place will receive $200 and third place will will receive $100. Entries should contain one or more of the following messages: safety, lessons learned, risk management, Crew Resource Management, tanker and airlift operation, Strategic Air Command/Mobility Air Command/Air Mobility Command heritage. Original, previously unpublished fiction or nonfiction work can be submitted. Entries should not exceed for single-spaced pages, excluding photographs and graphics. All contest submissions must include the author's name, rank (if applicable), unit, home address, DSN, commercial and fax numbers, and e-mail address. Contestants are encouraged to submit any photos or graphics relating to their entry if available.
