Warriors of the North,

I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your hard work and commitment to safety over the past few months.

I am absolutely thrilled to note that there have been no DUIs in this wing for more than 90 days. This is completely due to the effort you all put in as Wingmen every day -- commanders, supervisors and all Airmen -- taking care of each other and keeping us all safe.

In recognition of this milestone, and after consultation with the group commanders, it is my pleasure to announce that April 19 will be a down day for our wing. Enjoy some time off you've all earned it. Understanding that not everyone can take the 19th off I have asked the group commanders to work their schedules so that those who cannot will have the opportunity to take a day off when the schedule permits.

With summer just around the corner, we need to continue our vigilance! Our focus on safety needs to stay razor-sharp as the weather warms up and we get to spend more time playing outdoor sports, riding motorcycles and travelling.

Keep up the great work! Thanks for all you do every day.
