Courts-martial On 31 July 2008, Technical Sergeant Michael S. Thweatt, 319th Communications Squadron, was tried by a special court-martial. He pled guilty to and was convicted of one charge and one specification in violation of Article 111, UCMJ, for Driving Under the Influence (DUI). The approved sentence was a reduction to the grade of Senior Airman with that portion below the grade of Staff Sergeant suspended. On 6 August 2008, Airman Basic Abraham P. Robinette, 319th Security Forces Squadron, was tried by a special court-martial. He pled guilty to and was convicted of one charge and 5 specifications of in violation of Article 112a, UCMJ, Wrongful use and Distribution of a Controlled Substance. The approved sentence was forfeiture of $900 pay per month for 10 months, 8 months confinement, and a Bad Conduct Discharge. Discharges June An AB from the 319 CS received a General discharge for Minor Disciplinary Infractions. An A1C from the 319 FSS received a General discharge for Minor Disciplinary Infractions. July An A1C from the 319 LRS received an Honorable Discharge for Mental Disorders. An AB from the 319 LRS received a General discharge for Drug Abuse and Minor Disciplinary Infractions. An A1C from the 319 AMDS received an Honorable Discharge for Mental Disorders. A SSgt from the 319 FSS received an Honorable Discharge Failure to progress in the Fitness Program. A SrA from the 319 AMXS received an Honorable Discharge for Failure to progress in the Fitness Program. August An A1C from the 319 FSS received a General discharge for Minor Disciplinary Infractions. An Amn from the 319 LRS received a General Discharge for Failure to perform assigned duties properly, Failure to progress in on-the job training (OJT), and Unsanitary habits. An A1C from the 319 LRS received an Honorable Discharge for Failure to perform assigned duties properly, and Failure to progress in on-the-job training (OJT) September An A1C from the 319 AMXS received a General discharge for Minor Disciplinary Infractions. An Amn from the 319 CES received an Honorable Discharge for Mental Disorders. An A1C from the 319 LRS received a General discharge for Minor Disciplinary Infractions. An A1C from the 319 LRS received a General discharge for Minor Disciplinary Infractions and Mental Disorders Articles 15s June An Amn from the 319 CES received an Article 15 for one specification of Failure to Go and one specification of Simple Assault. Specifically, the member failed to go to their appointed place of duty at the appointed time. The punishment consisted of a reduction to Airman Basic, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. An A1C from the 319 CES received an Article 15 for Dereliction of Duty. Specifically, the member failed to refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages while under the legal drinking age of 21. The punishment consisted of a suspended forfeiture of $150 pay per month for 2 months, suspended 14 days extra duty, and a reprimand. An A1C from the 319 MDOS received an Article 15 Assault Consummated by a Battery. Specifically, the member assaulted another Air Force member. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to Airman and 7 days extra duty. An A1C from the 319 FSS received an Article 15 Wrongful use and Possession of an ID with the intent to defraud. Specifically, the member tried to use another Air Force member's military ID card for identification. The punishment consisted of a forfeiture of $18, 15 days extra duty, and a reprimand. A SrA from the 319 LRS received an Article 15 for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Amn, with that portion below the grade of Airman First Class suspended. An A1C from the 319 FSS received an Article 15 for Disorderly Conduct. Specifically, the member falsely identified himself to a Grand Forks police officer. The punishment consisted of a reduction to Airman, 15 days extra duty, and a reprimand. July An A1C from the 319 FSS received an Article 15 for one specification of Making a False Official Statement, and two specifications of Disorderly Conduct. Specifically, the member falsely identified himself to a Grand Forks police officer and played loud music and made other disruptions after midnight while staying in an apartment in the city of Grand Forks. The punishment consisted of a reduction to Airman, forfeiture of $18, and 45 days extra duty. A TSgt from the 319 FSS received an Article 15 for Failure to Obey a Lawful Order. Specifically, the member failed to complete fitness participation and expectations while being enrolled in the Healthy Living Program. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to Staff Sergeant and 30 days extra duty. A SSgt from the 319 AMXS received an Article 15 for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. The punishment consisted of a reduction to Senior Airman and forfeiture of $500 pay per month for 2 months. An Amn from the 319 MDOS received an Article 15 for Dereliction of Duty. Specifically, the member failed to refrain from wrongfully using patient health care information. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of Airman Basic and 14 days restriction. An A1C from the 319 LRS received an Article 15 for Wrongful use of Marijuana. The punishment consisted of a reduction to Airman Basic, 30 days extra duty, and 30 days restriction. An Amn from the 319 MXS received an Article 15 for Assault Consummated by a Battery. Specifically, the member assaulted another Air Force member. The punishment consisted of a reduction to Airman Basic, forfeiture of $673 pay per month for 2 months, and 14 days extra duty. August An Amn from the 319 CS received an Article 15 for Dereliction of Duty. Specifically, the member failed to refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages while under the legal drinking age of 21. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to Airman Basic and 30 days extra duty. An A1C from the 319 LRS received an Article 15 for two specifications of Failure to Go, Disobeying of SNCO, and Dereliction of Duty. Specifically, the member disobeyed an order from a SNCO by going to his home without his supervisor when ordered not to do so. The member also did not provide a current contact number to his unit for the purpose of recall. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Airman and 30 days extra duty. An A1C from the 319 CES received an Article 15 for one specification of Dereliction of Duty and one specification of Damage to military property. Specifically, the member failed to refrain from consuming alcohol while under the legal drinking age of 21. Additionally, the member damaged military property by throwing a remote control into the plexiglass of a Hitachi big screen located in a dorm on Grand Forks AFB. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of Airman, forfeiture of $150 pay per month for 2 months, and 15 days extra duty. An A1C from the 319 LRS received an Article 15 for two specifications of Dereliction of Duty. Specifically, the member failed to book seats on a mission for two CES deployers who needed airlift to their deployed location. Additionally, the member failed to secure classified information. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Airman, 45 days extra duty, and 45 days restriction. An A1C from the 319 AMXS received an Article 15 for Fleeing the scene of an accident. The punishment consisted of 30 days extra duty, 30 days restriction, and a reprimand. September A TSgt from the 319 AMXS received an Article 15 for one specification of Disobeying a SNCO, two specifications of Assault Consummated by a Battery, and one specification of Drunk and Disorderly. Specifically, the member was ordered by a SNCO to return to his hotel room while TDY to Nellis AFB and failed to do so. Additionally, the member was drunk and disorderly and assaulted a SNCO and a company grade officer. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Staff Sergeant. An A1C from the MDSS received an Article 15 for Failure to Obey a Lawful Order. Specifically, the member violated a No Contact Order issued by her commander. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of Airman, forfeiture of $754 pay per month for 2 months, and 30 days extra duty. A TSgt from the 319 SFS received an Article 15 for Violating a General Order. Specifically, the member violated an Air Force Instruction by wrongfully withdrawing his 9mm pistol from his holster and aiming it at a telephone inside the Security Forces Control Center building. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of Staff Sergeant, suspended forfeiture of $500 pay per month for 2 months, 30 days extra duty, and a reprimand. A SrA from the 319 LRS received an Article 15 for Failure to Obey a Lawful Order. Specifically, the member violated a No Contact Order issued by his First Sergeant. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of Airman First Class and 15 days extra duty. An Amn from the 319 FSS received an Article 15 for one specification of Dereliction of Duty and one specification of False Official Statement. Specifically, the member failed to wear the proper duty uniform and made a false official statement to a company grade officer. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Airman Basic, forfeiture of $100 pay per month for 2 months, 45 days extra duty, and a reprimand. An A1C from the 319 FSS received an Article 15 for Failure to Go. Specifically, the member failed to report to his appointed place of duty at the appointed time. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Airman, 10 days extra duty, 10 days restriction, and a reprimand. An Amn from the 319 CES received an Article 15 for Larceny. Specifically, the member ate at the Panda Buffet and left the restaurant without paying. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of Airman Basic, forfeiture of $100 pay per month for 2 months, suspended 15 days extra duty, and a reprimand. A SrA from the 319 MDOS received an Article 15 for two specifications of Failure to Go and one specification of Dereliction of Duty. Specifically, the member failed to report to his appointed place of duty two times. Additionally, the member failed to order optical items. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Airman with that portion below the grade of Airman First Class suspended, 30 days restriction, and a reprimand. An A1C from the 319 CES received an Article 15 for one specification of Larceny and one specification of Assault Consummated by a Battery. Specifically, the member ate at the Panda Buffet and left the restaurant without paying. Additionally, the member assaulted another Air Force member. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Airman, forfeiture of $100 pay per month for 2 months, suspended 15 days extra duty, and a reprimand. An A1C from the 319 FSS received an Article 15 for Failure to Obey a General Order. Specifically, the member used the Government Travel Card while not on PCS or TDY status. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Airman Basic, 30 days extra duty, 30 days restriction, and a reprimand. A SSgt from the 319 SFS received an Article 15 for Wrongful use of Marijuana on divers occasions. The punishment consisted of a reduction to Senior Airman, forfeiture of $1,067 pay per month for 2 months, and a reprimand.
