Lt. Gen. Mark F. Ramsay met with officers of Grand Forks to provide his insights on leadership during a breakfast gathering on Aug. 8.

Ramsay presently serves as Director of Force Structure, Resources and Assessment for the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. He had served as wing commander for the 319th Air Refueling Wing here from 2003 to 2005 and recently finished serving as commander of the 18th Air Force.

He answered questions ranging from strategic level Air Force policy and the future direction of the Air Force to his personal experiences as wing commander at Grand Forks Air Force Base.

"If you take care of the people, they will take care of the mission," Ramsay said.

The breakfast with Ramsay provided officers with a unique opportunity to interact with top Air Force leadership.
