  • POW/MIA Recognition Day honored by GFAFB

    Our Warriors of the North honored all service members who are, or ever were, prisoners of war or missing in action. Airmen from multiple squadrons volunteered to keep a POW/MIA flag moving during a 24-hour run, which was then carried to the honor guard building for a commemorative ceremony September 21, 2018.
  • CDC suspected abuse investigated

    While reviewing closed circuit TV footage of June 4th, 2018, base officials discovered suspected abuse of a child by child development center employee Donna Mae Anderson. In order to protect the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of the child involved, additional details cannot be released; however, Ms. Anderson is no longer employed at Grand Forks AFB. At this time, there are no other investigations of abuse at the child development center other than this isolated incident.
