    Base Airmen and their dogs enjoyed "Tactical Paws" Sept. 18, 2019, at the dog park on Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. The event was inspired by recent resilience tactical pauses across the U.S. Air Force, in which Airmen had a day to be with their wingmen and discuss the importance of mental health and different avenues of help or support offered to those who need it.
  • Civilian Airman lost to fatal case of meningococcal meningitis

    A civilian employee assigned to 319th Force Support Squadron died from a fatal infection of meningococcal meningitis over the weekend.
  • Single case of meningococcal meningitis being investigated

    A case of meningococcal meningitis is currently being investigated here. Base officials are working closely with the North Dakota Department of Health to identify and notify close contacts to ensure they receive appropriate antibiotics. There is not a risk to members of the general public who were not in close contact with the infected individual.
