The women and girls seated themselves in anticipation of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics workshop they came for, hosted by the base Airman and Family Readiness Center.

  • Letter for parents regarding viral gastroenteritis

    Grand Forks Air Force Base has become aware of children experiencing vomiting and/or diarrhea. From the information we have at this point, it appears that the illness might be caused by a virus. Fortunately, people infected with viral gastroenteritis usually recover quickly with rest and hydration.

  • U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds scheduled to perform in 2020

    Grand Forks Air Force Base welcomes back the U.S. Air Force’s premier aerial demonstration team, the Thunderbirds, for an Air and Space Expo, August 1 and 2, 2020. It will be the first time since May 22, 2010 Grand Forks AFB has opened its gates for an air show featuring the Thunderbirds.

    A non-denominational vigil was held to honor the lives of Staff Sgt. Anthony James Dean, his wife Chelsi Kay Dean and their two children Kaytlin Merie Dean, 5, and Avri James Dean, 1, November 28, 2018, in the St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Manvel, North Dakota.
