A lounge area in the newly-renovated Gray Hall Dorm features a small kitchenette, vending machine and variety of seating arrangements to encourage socializing March 26, 2020, on Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D., March 26, 2020. The updated shared living spaces were part of the renovations, which also included a ground-source heat pump system, rapidly renewable materials, accessible ramp to the main entrance and increased fresh air ventilation, all of which helped earned the dorm a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design award.
