Grand Forks AFB remembers, honors 9/11 victims

A firefighter with the 319th Civil Engineer Squadron begins his journey up the air traffic control tower during a memorial stair climb Sept. 11, 2019, on Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. The goal for all participants was to climb the tower 14 times, an equivalent of the World Trade Center’s 110 stories, to commemorate those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks.
