Mental Health Matters #GFCares is an organization overseen by an advisory committee including Grand Forks Public Schools, City of Grand Forks, Altru Health System TEARS Program, Grand Forks Opioid Response Program, Grand Forks Police Department, University of North Dakota, Mountain Plains Mental Health and Addiction Technology Transfer Centers and mental health providers. Thier mission is to organize community events to educate, promote awareness of mental health and community issues, provide resources for mental health and community care, and address barriers to essential care.
North Dakota Health & Human Services offers a mental health provider and program directory that can be filtered to find specific programs for adults and children.
The Personal Financial Readiness Program provides Department of the Air Force members and their families the foundation for financial literacy and the tools needed to make sound financial decisions.
The Grand Forks Community Care Center & Food Pantry offers residents of Grand Forks County, East Grand Forks, MN and Fisher, MN, no-cost food once a month. Food distribution is by appointment only, Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Call (701)757-3480 for more information.
