Airmen assigned to Grand Forks Air Force Base have been arrested in conjunction with a shooting May 28 in Grand Forks. The victim of that incident is also assigned to the base.

Local law enforcement officials are investigating the incident with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.

The Air Force will continue to work hand-in-hand with its civilian counterparts, ensuring justice is brought about swiftly and properly.

"The Air Force and Grand Forks Air Force Base absolutely do not condone any criminal act. Like any case, members are innocent until proven guilty. We take our military mission and role in this community very seriously - we'll continue to do everything we can to produce outstanding Airmen and citizens for America," said Col. Diane Hull, commander of the 319th Air Refueling Wing.

Further details of the case will be released as they become available.
