First B-1B Lancer touches down at Grand Forks AFB, begins bed down

A B1-B Lancer from the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, parks on the flight line at Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota, Dec. 5, 2024. This was the first of 17 B-1Bs scheduled to temporarily relocate to Grand Forks AFB beginning this month. The relocated B-1Bs will continue to support home station taskings out of Grand Forks AFB during their relocation, expected to last about 10 months.
