319th CES innovates solution for dual dormitory water outage

Staff Sgt. Michael Welch, 319th Civil Engineer Squadron structural craftsman, drills a hole in the floor of Eielson Hall, Jan. 4, 2024, on Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. The 319th CES developed an innovative solution to restore water to both Eielson Hall and Kollinger Hall by redistributing water from the facilities’ fire suppression system, resulting in both running water for residents and operational suppression systems.
