Breaking New Ground

Officials from Northrop Grumman, Grand Sky Development Co., Grand Forks County and Grand Forks Air Force Base gathered for the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Grand Sky UAS tech park Sept. 10, 2015. The ceremony marked the official beginning of the construction phase for the Grand Sky Unmanned Aerial Systems Tech Park, which sits on 217 acres of land adjacent to Grand Forks Air Force Base, and is specially designed for UAS research, development, testing, training and flying UAS of all types.
