Two MQ-9 Predator Bs make history

An MQ-9 Reaper Predator B from U.S. Customs and Border Protection awaits permission to launch while another performs a maneuver in which an aircraft touches the ground as if landing, and immediately taking off again on Aug. 1, 2014, on Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D. The two MQ-9 Predator Bs allowed by the Federal Aviation Administration are the first remotely piloted aircraft to fly simultaneously in the same unrestricted airspace.
