‘Yikes! Is this turkey done?’

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, salmonella infection is one of the most common types of food poisoning associated with eating improperly stored or cooked foods such as turkey, turkey dressing, chicken, or eggs. As a preventative measure the Defense Commissary Agency provided an informative article that helps Thanksgiving-meal cooks better answer the question of, ‘Yikes!
