Sgt. Corey J. Rystad a Soldier worth running for

Pictured is Corey J. Rystad baring the rank of an Army specialist. Sgt. Rystad, age 20, of Red Lake Falls was killed in combat while traveling on a patrol mission near Fallujah, Iraq, after an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle on Dec. 2, 2006. His childhood friend from Red Lake Falls, Minn., Kurt Philion, honors his memory by carrying a 3 by 5 foot American flag while running races with a T-shirt bearing this image of him.
