Scouts honor— the fallen

Tyler Herman, a Cub Scout with Troop 319, looks for a good spot to place a U.S. flag on the gravesite of a soldier who served in the Spanish-American War during a volunteer effort on May 24, 2013, at Calvary Cemetery in Grand Forks, N.D., in honor of Memorial Day. Herman was one of about a dozen military children from Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D., who helped place U.S. flags on hundreds of gravesites. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Luis Loza Gutierrez)
