Force shaping board convenes in July
The Air Force will convene a fiscal year 2014 Force Shaping Board here July 14 to consider eligible officers within competitive categories for continued retention, Air Force Personnel Center officials said today. Categories include line of the Air Force, LAF-judge advocate, biomedical sciences corps, dental corps, medical service corps and nurse corps. The purpose of the board is to retain officers whose careers illustrate suitability for continued service and future leadership roles, said Lt. Col. AF uniform policy update: limitless athletic shoes among changes
The Air Force updated the policy governing uniform wear Jan. 17, with a goal of not financially burdening Airmen. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Mark. A. Welsh III approved several updates to Air Force Instruction 36-2903, Air Force Dress and Appearance, with many of the changes coming directly from Airmen.
