Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
I believe that supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States is the right thing to do. It is a great privilege to participate in the military protecting the freedoms that many Americans enjoy.

What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?
I am proud to be a part of the RQ-4 Global Hawk Initial Operational Test and Evaluation.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I enjoy my opportunity to participate in important operations world-wide without having to leave my family.

Who or what inspires you and why?
My wife, Eleanor, greatly inspires me with her faith in God and many selfless efforts to support, comfort, and help me and our family.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
Being close to the Twin Cities, where we have many family and friends makes Grand Forks AFB a place we want to be.

Do you have any military service family members or anyone close to you that has served? If so when and where did they serve?
A friend and mentor of mine is Lt. Col. Mike Chapa. He was an F-15 pilot who retired a few years ago as a lieutenant colonel. He has encouraged me professionally and spiritually.
