School begins September 2

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- School begins at Twining Elementary and Middle School September 2.

The School Liaison Office urges all parents and base residents to keep the following information in mind:
- Drive with care and follow posted speed limits
- Work with your students on the proposed walking and biking routes
- Check with Twining to sign up for the carpooling/parent network booklet
- Be alert in residential areas and school zones for children
- Be patient during the first few weeks of school as everyone becomes used to the new traffic patterns. The following are maps for new traffic controls and safe routes.
- Contact the school with your child would like to be considered for the new safety patrol program (for 5th grade and up).
