Doug Burgum and Lt. Gov. Tammy Miller visited Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D., March 1, 2024. Gov. Burgum and Lt. Gov. Miller toured the base while visiting the Grand Forks area. Gov. Burgum and Lt. Gov. Miller had the opportunity to speak with the airmen about their Air Force journey and career. During their tour, the group stopped by the future location of Eielson Elementary and Middle School, and discussed the curriculum focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Arts, planning renovations, and the draft layout.
