Team Grand Forks has earned another "Excellent" inspection rating on an Airfield Operations Certification Inspection conducted by a team from Air Mobility Command (AMC).

The inspection evaluated the ability of the base's Airfield Operations enterprise and Air Traffic System to meet standards and operational requirements of military and civil users.

The Operations Support Squadron, Communications Squadron, and Civil Engineering Squadron were observed directly for this inspection, and according to the AOCI inspection team, the Warriors of the North are "safe, efficient and professional."

Five superior individual performers earned coins from the AOCI team: Airman 1st Class Bart Mistrot, 319th Communications Squadron; Staff Sgt. Dustin Storm, 319th Operations Support Squadron; Staff Sgt. Zachariah Michels, 319th OSS; Master Sgt. Jay Phillips, 319th OSS; and 1st Lt. Miles Ryan, 319th Civil Engineer Squadron.

Col. Christopher Mann, 319th Air Base Wing interim commander, extended his congratulations to the inspected squadrons for a job well done, and encouraged others to do the same.
