Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air force is important to me because I love my country. I love the fact that I get to be a part of an organization that protects our freedom and looks out for the well-being of loved ones. Also the Air Force had a huge part in molding me into the person that I am today. I have a lot of gratitude and respect for the military and everyone in it.

What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?
I am most proud of passing the WAPS (Weighted Airman Promotion System) test my first time. I put the time and effort into studying, so it was awesome seeing my hard work pay off.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is working with the pilots and giving them forecasts that help them accomplish the mission. I really enjoy seeing what they do and being a part of it.

Who inspires you and why?
I have a few people who inspire me but one of my biggest inspirations would have to be my current supervisor. He is a great leader and a well-rounded NCO. A leader who works extremely hard to get things accomplished and understands the Airmen that he leads. He knows his job inside and out and he is the type of NCO that I strive to be some day.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
I like the fact that Grand Forks is a college town. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people who are my age, which is great since my weather shop is so small and we work many odd hours.
