Grand Forks Air Force Base Clubs

  • Book Club

    The Book Club meets one Saturday each month at the Base Library. (511 Holzapple St, Grand Forks AFB, N.D. 58205, USA).

    Check the Facebook or contact the library each month for the date. Please contact the Library Manager at 701-747-3048 with any questions or to sign up.

  • Soccer Club

    Pick-up soccer games take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday (Saturday if it's the first Friday) from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. 

    Games played in the GFAFB Fitness Center Field House.  All games are open to public, no cleats allowed.

  • Volleyball Club

    Pick-up games take play the first and third Saturdays from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. 

    Games are played in the GFAFB Fitness Center indoor volleyball courts. Games are all played as casual, come-and-go style volleyball gameplay.

  • Wrestling Club

    The Wrestling Club hosts practices every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:00 PM at the Fitness Center.

  • GFAFB Drop-In Hockey Club

    This is a group for ice hockey players of all skill levels to meet at the base rink a few times a week and play pick-up games.  

    POCs are Ryuta King, 859-655-5978 and Jordan Chambliss.  

    Best way to contact would be through FB group "GFAFB Drop-In Hockey Club," Facebook messenger, or by cell.

  • Writer's Club

    The Writer's Club is an opportunity for writers, both military and civilian, assigned to Grand Forks Air Force Base to come together and discuss writing techniques, projects they are working on and other writing-related topics.

    Club meets at the Base Library the second Saturday of the month and the second-to-last Saturday of the month from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

    The Crochet Club is for anyone assigned to Grand Forks Air Force Base who has a passion for the art of crochet or anyone who wants to learn a new skill.

    The Grand Forks AFB Gaming Community is a branch of Air Force Gaming.

    The Hispanic Heritage Club is associated with Grand Forks AFB’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and strives to educate and share Hispanic and Latin culture with the GFAFB community.


  • Grand Forks AFB Neurospicy Spouses

    This group is a safe place to talk and hangout for Grand Forks AFB Spouses who are Neurodivergent.  

    This includes but is not limited to Autism, ADD/ADHD, OCD, PTSD and c-PTSD, PDA, Schizoaffective disorders, DID, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, epilepsy, dyslexia, dyscalculia, APD, learning and/or developmental disabilities.  

    Join "Grand Forks AFB Neurospicy Spouses" on Facebook where you will be welcome to post, rant, share funny memes, or anything you want, really.  There are no specific meetings or meet ups at this time.  

    *Please note this group is only for the adults who are Neurodivergent.

  • Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals

    Grand Forks AFB is a corporate member of Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals, which makes their events free to Airmen and Guardians. 

    They offer a community evolvement, professional development, and social opportunity each month.
