There are often times where there will be military spouses who are both active-duty members. However, how often do you see both spouses remain in active-duty together? According to the Air Force Portal, there are currently only 28,366 dual military spouses. Not only is being an active-duty military member a challenge in itself, balancing a marriage with another active-duty member can be hard, especially as both members climb the ranks.
Imagine being doubted, criticized and talked down to by your friends, wingmen or supervisors for a decision you happily made and proudly shared. That is what happened to Airman 1st Class Nicholas and Etelyn Cash, who happened to get married during their technical training after knowing each other for two months.
<img src='https://media.defense.gov/2017/Dec/13/2001856134/300/300/0/171120-F-DT423-1014.JPG' alt='Airman 1st Class Nicholas Cash, firefighter with the 319th Civil Engineer Squadron, left, and Airman 1st Class Etelyn Cash, alarm monitor with the 319th Security Forces Squadron, spend time together on their day off in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Nov. 20, 2017. The couple has been married for nearly a year after getting married in January of 2017, three months after meeting. (Air Force photo illustration by Airman 1st Class Elora J.
Making the cut for any Air Force sports team is just a dream for hundreds of Airmen who never see their names on any sort of final list of selected members. For Airman 1st Class Justice Graham and Senior Airman Michael Higgins, that dream became a reality in 2017.
The holiday season is a great time to get together and celebrate with family, especially for Airmen who haven’t been home in months, but the truth is not everyone is fortunate enough to do so.
The Airmen in the dorms who have to or choose to stay on base during the month of December received a sweet surprise on Monday, Dec. 4 from a group of generous bakers willing to share the love.

Looking at Bristow now, standing at 5 feet 10 inches, weighing roughly 180 pounds, it is completely unapparent he used to weigh almost 220 pounds two years ago. With motivation from his brothers and the prospects of joining the Air Force, Bristow was able to accomplish his goals to improve his fitness and lose weight.
