COVID-19 Vaccine Update as of December 29, 2021

COVID-19 VACCINE APPOINTMENTS

The 319th Medical Group at GFAFB is offering Moderna vaccinations to all eligible beneficiaries and government employees, and can be scheduled online or by calling 701-747-5601. Available first and second doses for all eligible beneficiaries ages 18+. Booster doses are available to all beneficiaries 18+ six months after completion of initial series with any other COVID-19 vaccine. Third doses are available to those meeting CDC criteria 28 days after their second dose. Moderna vaccines are given on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week.

Pfizer Pediatric vaccinations are available for all eligible beneficiaries ages 5-11, and can be scheduled online or by calling 701-747-5601. Available first and second doses for all eligible beneficiaries ages 5-11. Pfizer Pediatric vaccines are given on Mondays and Wednesdays every week. The 319th MDG does not have any doses of Pfizer (age 12+) vaccinations and there are no projections on future shipments. Anyone in need of another Pfizer dose is encouraged to get it in town. Patients can still schedule by calling 701-747-4381, but online scheduling is preferred at the link above. COVID-19 vaccines are safe and held to the same safety standards as all other vaccines.

HPCON UPDATES

Grand Forks AFB is assessed at HPCON Alpha. 

Due to the increased transmissibility of the COVID-19 Omicron variant and other common seasonal infections such as norovirus, common cold, gastroenteritis, bronchitis, the flu and pneumonia, masks are still required in all medical facilities and highly encouraged in DoD installation facilities.
