COVID-19 VACCINE APPOINTMENTS
The 319th Medical Group at GFAFB is offering COVID-19 vaccinations to all TRICARE beneficiaries. COVID-19 vaccinations will be offered every Tuesday and may be scheduled online or by calling 701-747-5451.
Available vaccines/boosters and criteria listed below:
-MODERNA SPIKEVAX is available for all eligible beneficiaries ages 12 and up. MODERNA SPIKEVAX is FDA-approved for primary series for those ages 18+ and has received EUA for use in those 12-17 years of age.
-MODERNA COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent is available for all eligible beneficiaries ages 18 and up. MODERNA COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent has received EUA from the FDA for use as a single booster dose 2 months after completion of a primary series or 2 months after receipt of most recent booster dose. This booster provides protection against the original COVID-19 and OMICRON BA.4/BA.5.
The 319th MDG no longer carries the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Anyone interested in a Pfizer dose is encouraged to explore available options in the greater Grand Forks area. Please use the following link to locate a vaccination location near you: https://www.vaccines.gov/.

Grand Forks AFB is assessed at HPCON Alpha.
Due to the increased transmissibility of the COVID-19 Omicron variant and other common seasonal infections such as norovirus, common cold, gastroenteritis, bronchitis, the flu and pneumonia, masks are still required in all medical facilities and highly encouraged in DoD installation facilities.
